We had an amazing and massive sandwich with fresh caught tuna salad and prosciutto. Probably should have only gotten one and shared something else. Postcard beach bar vibe.

One of my favorite beach bars in the entire Caribbean! Located in the Jibe City windsurfers oasis/school on Lac Bay in fabulous Bonaire and a perfect beach dive bar vibe! Very friendly and welcoming staff, great Dutch-centric food and drink menu, and front row seating to the windsurfing show always happening on Lac Bay! Barefoot bar seating, a few cozy and shady tables on the deck, and comfy loungers right in the sand draw you in and make you think, I could quit my job, sell the house, and move to Bonaire. Seriously. They even have Wi-Fi to get on Zillow.

The view here was awesome. We love to watch the windsurfing.I had the pulled pork quesadilla which had very little pork or cheese. My wife did love her tuna salad and it also attracted the cat.I think it would be a better experience if wait staff would check on you and provide an option for a refill or to pay.

The restaurant boasts a wonderful setting and offers high-quality food. However, the tables are uncomfortably close together, and the staff seems inattentive to customer needs (our one-time experience). While it's a pleasant spot for lunch with its prime location, those seeking ample space or attentive service may want to consider other options.

Packed party vibe with lots of families and little kids. Water is calm and shallow for wading (you can walk in right from the bar) but you're competing with all the resorters learning to wind surf. Anyone can walk in and eat/drink, visit the surf shop, or sign up for lessons. The beach next door is expensive to visit, though it is nice soft white sand. Food and drinks are good, but if you've been to any beach bar on any island, you've been here.

Drinks, wind surfers and great views. This was the second time I have returned to this fun, beach side restaurant and bar. You can watch all the different water activities, have cold beverages and enjoy delicious food. The BLT was amazing, it is not your regular take, there is all the components, but it is deconstructed with a good portion of egg salad on a nice fresh thick piece of house baked wheat bread. I highly recommend it. I had a burger the last time I came. It was just as delicious, but this meal was out of the regular bar fare. The wait staff is friendly. This again is a place on island time. If you are in a hurry, lol....good luck waiting. The island vibe and views is a great kick off for a vacation in Bonaire. The locals love it, and the tourist should not miss out on visiting. You may even learn to wind surf while you are there.

One of the most easygoing places on the already easygoing island Bonaire.A place we regularly like to visit but only recently had dinner with friends. Even though it was quite busy service was spot on and the food was delicious. Usually not a big fan of ribs.. but they are to die for.On most Sundays they got a dj playing from late afternoon till 21:00.

This place was great. The food was well above average. Had the crab salad sandwich and the charcuterie board (bread platter) plus drinks. Well priced for what we got. About $54 and they were surprised by a tip. Not as touristy as most of the island and off the beaten path. Spent two hours eating and drinking and watching the windsurfers play. Will be back.

Hang Out Beachbar is a great restaurant for beach grub style food and a great view of kite surfers, and kite e-foilers in the shallow water of Lac Bay at Soboron Beach.

Great vibes, clean, fantastic food and cold drinks. I couldn’t be happier that we stopped at this vibing little beach shack.The decor was interesting, yet the view of the sea and the surfers was mesmerising.The meal portions are not massive like Americans, so maybe sharing isn’t ideal, yet they are perfect sizes for solo.Great experience and easy to get too.Multilingual staff were gracious with us!!

Tucked away and unseen from the road is this family friendly hideaway. Enjoyed DJ, the food, and breathtaking view of the ocean. Good road stop while out touring this end of the island.

We went here for lunch with friends of ours. I ordered the crab salad sandwich, my girl went for the tuna salad sandwich and our friends went for some burgers.Great service, amazing food and on Sundays they have a DJ playing ‘music while you enjoy your food or hangout around the lounge area.It can sometimes be very busy, but that’s only because its worth it!

Loved the view but seating is very tight and the food is just okay. Menu is super limited as well. Would not be my first choice for lunch next time.

It was great . We had way better experience this time than few months ago ! Servers were very friendly & cool to talk to & hang out by the bar . We had really good time there . After first experience few months ago I wasn't sure if I wanted to go there again , but glad we did !

Wow!!! There is a reason this is rated so high! Loved it! We ate and drank all day for 4 of us it was like $200. CHEAP!!! But the view and the water? PRICELESS! Food was great, service was amazing!

This is one of my favorite places in the whole world. Right now, I'm sitting outside in North Carolina, thinking longingly about the Hang Out Beachbar. With the brisk breeze blowing in off the bay and the warm sun, the temperature is just perfect. The view, with stunning turquoise water and fantastic wind-surfers showing their moves, is exceptional. The staff are all friendly and enhance the good vibes. The food is good (try the Dutch specialties) and the beer icy cold. Just heaven.

The Hang Out Beachbar is a quintessential beach bar with incredible food. The drinks arrived fairly quickly after ordering and the place was packed. The staff was quite friendly, the drinks were cold. We went back with friends for the Reggae band, not exactly Reggae but it was an incredibly fun time. The music was really good, I could not understand much of the lyrics, but everyone else knew the words to the songs. There was an electricity in the air, everyone was having a wonderful time. There appeared either to be A LOT of locals of just a bunch of Dutch. Lots of people dancing of all age groups.

Talk about a place to lay out in the sun. Fun filled activities and food to satisfy your palate. Watersports of all kinds. Sounds of the water is so soothing to nap in one of the lounge chairs right on the water.

At a breathtaking location with clear blue water and a nice breeze this is the perfect place for a great hang-out! Sometimes at night, you can even dance at the beach and enjoy wonderful music!

What began as a trunk-bar, turned into a fantastic place to eat, drink and celebrate. Start your day early and take a cup of coffee at the beach, enjoy the sun beds on the beach or eat a delicious sandwich, fresh fish or another dish from the lunch menu. The Hang Out Beach Bar also has wonderful nights of live music and that means a night full of rhythm to remember. The Hangout Beach Bar is not open every night, so make sure you don’t miss it, this place is fantastic!

You get your own fully prepared BBQ on your table and a choice of meat, chicken and fish, supplemented with vegetables and salad, sauces and sandwiches. Enjoy your own grill talent while enjoying live music or DJs on the beach. There is no other dining experience like this on Bonaire.

Especially in September, October and November the BBQs are subject to the weather conditions, because with too much wind, it is because of smoke and sparks that it can be less fun to barbecue!
