From juicy steaks and savory chicken to flavorful vegetarian options, there’s something for everyone — but fish is truly the star of the show! By supporting local fishermen, we serve up the freshest seafood you’ll find on the island. In June 2022, chef and owner Dick Bos welcomed Frank Rustman as co-owner of Breeze ‘n Bites. Conveniently located near the Hato roundabout, right on the water at Den Laman, the restaurant offers sweeping views of Klein Bonaire. With the gentle sound of waves lapping at the shore and palm leaves swaying in the breeze, the setting instantly puts you at ease.
Dick first arrived in Bonaire in 1990 and worked at this very spot — long before becoming the restaurant’s owner in 2015. His journey in hospitality began at age 9 in his father’s ice cream shop, later fulfilling dreams of becoming a cruise ship chef and eventually owning a Caribbean oceanfront restaurant.
After years of managing and cooking solo, Dick saw the value in partnering with someone who could bring added strength and expertise to the business — and Frank was the perfect fit.
