Definitely a hit if you are staying at Chogogo and have prepaid for breakfast. Else, the prices are pretty steep for their breakfast menu. You have set options to choose from which includes the Chogogo ($25), Deluxe ($35), Healthy ($25), and Vegetarian ($25).Surprised by some reviews talking about birds flying everywhere. Quite unreasonable to not expect birds flying around in an amazing beach facing resort. An enclosed restaurant might be better suited in these cases.Food overall was ok. Nothing spectacular, but not bad either. Croissants and omelettes were good and you can pick toppings yourselves. Coffee was self-serve through their coffee machines.Service is really quick and food arrives within 10 mins of placing the order.

Hit or miss. We went to the Sunset more than five times during our stay at Chogogo, so clearly it serves a purpose.PROS:- Food gets the job done. Nothing special, but it was a great place for us to eat lunch upon arriving after our long journey. Plenty of options, including for kids. The smoothie bowls and yogurt options are great ways to start a day and fuel up for diving and exploring.- The view is great, including (naturally) of the sunset. The restaurant is on an elevated plane on the resort grounds overlooking the pool and the beach beyond.CONS:- Service was hit or miss. Had some pleasant wait staff. Had some who were rather surly. Most were slow in either case.-BIRDS. Okay, so for you own benefit, do NOT watch that Hitchcock film before coming here. You'll be freaked out, because birds have the run of this place. They're walking and flying right through all they want. If you get up to refill your coffee, they WILL come eat your eggs. The moment a table or even a single chair is abandoned, these winged busboys swoop into action. Some of the staff were more energetic than others about shooing them away, but it all seemed futile. So just be prepared. Oddly, this was not a problem at either of the other two restaurants at Chogogo.

We took the specials (fish risotto and ribeye). They were great. Chill place to sit and enjoy a good diner. Staff very friendly.

The seafood salad was more (in a good way) than I expected. The seafood definitely complimented the salad. My friend invited me as some of his previous students worked there. I met one (pictured) and he was very accommodating and cordial. There was also a younger girl who was helpful as well.My 3 stars come from, I think the restaurant manager, having a less than pleasant demeanor walking around the restaurant and addressing the (well certain) staff. If there is an issue, either lower your voice or ask that person or people to walk with you out of the earshot of customers…And smile. Customer service is key!I would still recommend.Maybe she was having a bad day.
