We had an amazing experience at Bon Tapa! The pulled chicken tacos and steak were fantastic—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. As someone with a gluten allergy, I was really impressed with their dedicated gluten-free menu. Our waitress was incredibly kind and helpful, ensuring I was informed about my options. She mentioned studying in Holland. A tall white male waiter was also very friendly and attentive. Overall, excellent service and delicious food. Highly recommend!

Great location, in the best touristic area of Bonaire, great food and amazing service. Not recommended if you suffer heat waves as it does not have AC and the fans are not enough to keep you comfortable.

Nice waterfront place. Staff is great and friendly. Tapas are unique. I didn't post pics because the monitor on site displays the dishes really well. Overall a moderate tasty place. Aimed at the Dutch palette. Definitely try the cherry/French toast dessert. Combine them all for a great combo.

Awesome food, great service at a cozy place! Everything was very good, from the drinks, served in nice cups, to the tapas.Our favorite one wlas the bacon wrapped goat cheese. A must! Even kids loved the ribs and the nachos.Totally recommend!

That was a very nice evening. Fine food, very friendly waiters/waitresses and good atmosphere. Some nice music and a lot of people, so a very nice evening out. They've got lot's of choice, meat, fish and vegetables and nice sides. The best dish of the evening was the picanha, but we also loved the smokey rib-eye tostadas and there realy wasn't a bad dish tonight. The cheesy fries were great as were the patatas bravas. Smoked salmon was a bit high on salt and they sold out of some things, but there was lots of choice so no problem.

Lovely spot! Food was amazing, and the restaurant was very nice. Food came out hot and quick. Kaylee was in charge of our table and took great care of us! Definitely a must-go, and will absolutely be coming back next time we're on the island. I recommend the Teriyaki Beef Tenderloin.

Made reservations for my birthday. Love Spain and look for tapas restaurants when traveling. We had Cava and several dishes. Everything was good, including the pan tomate, which we were really looking forward to eating. I had the mahi mahi, catch of the day and the sauce was VERY salty. I have a high tolerance to salt, but this was excessive. Just scraped some sauce off and it was ok. The fish was cooked perfectly medium, which made me happy. A lot of places overcook fish. The only negative was that the lady who opened our bottles of Cava popped the cork(twice...we had 2 bottles), which lets the bubbles out and it goes flat much faster. This is a very nice restaurant, so I would expect the staff to be trained how to open sparkling wine without popping the cork. Would definitely go back again and still highly recommend Bon Tapa.

Best tapas we´ve ever eaten. Very nice and friendly crew. Drinks were excellent and the food very delicious. The price is totally fine for the quality you´ll get! Highly recommended to try during your stay. We went two times in five days there.

The food was good. My wife and I shared the tasting menu. The service also decent. Because the restaurant is an open concept people were allowed to smoke and I haven't been in an environment that allowed smoking in years and that was off-putting.

This was our favorite place to eat from our trip to Bonaire. They have a great ambiance with friendly and helpful staff. Tapas are always fun with friends being able to try a lot of different things and everything we tried here was delicious including the pitchers of mojitos and sangria. If you aren't familiar with tapas plan on being here for longer than a normal American meal and definitely make a reservation if coming later in the evening

This is the best meal we had in a week on Bonaire. The food and service were excellent. As we paid our check, we made a reservation to return the following night. The pork loin was spectacular, but all the food was really, really good. Highly recommend.

Drinks and service 5⭐️. But food only 2⭐️. The ceviche was a ridiculously small portion- even for tapas. It looked more like very small leftover fish pieces, no Leche de Tigre, but Salat and one small slice of potatoe. This is not a Peruvian ceviche. The quesadillas needed more filling and cheese and were aswell very small for tapas. The patatas Bravas and aioli were tasty. Value for the money was not good. To sum up come for cocktails and some fries.

Service here was some of the best we received on the island. We were seated promptly, and the servers were very attentive. Was nice that we were able to try so many different options, all of which were really good. Goat cheese w/ bacon and the flat iron peppercorn slices were highlights. Will def be back. Wish we had found this place sooner on our two week trip.

Good idea to make reservations as this place can get busy. If you're feeling a bit adventurous, get the 'Dare to Share' tapas for 2. The chef prepares 10 different tapas, brought out all together on a platter. They were all very good. Our waiter was friendly, helpful and very attentive. Definitely a do not miss here in Bonaire.

Unless you go early, you'll need reservations. Interior is dark and rich looking. Very complete drink menu and a lot of tapas to choose from. Service was good. Food comes out as it is ready.

This place was great! Ended up going several times on my last trip to Bonaire. The food was delicious and super well priced. The bartender, Christian, was phenomemal; he is truly dedicated to his craft. Was great chatting with him and the owner! Great food, amazing drinks, good value, and phenomenal staff. Nothing but good stuff to say. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

OverratedI had high hopes for this restaurant. However a big disappointment; my red snapper was extremely dry and hard to chew, although the relish on the top was good. And the baked vegetables I was so much looking forward to seemed to me to be fried and were swimming in oil, so much so that I couldn't even finish this small tapa. Three stars are for the excellent service, otherwise even one star would be a compliment.
