If you are cheap, or you are a fat pig who complains about portion sizes, this is not the place for you. Expect to spend at least $600 here. It is a unique experience in an amazing location and we found every dish to be very unique And very delicious. We did not do the wine pairing because we don’t drink alcohol because alcohol causes cancer and it’s just bad for your health. Instead we drank mineral water and had a wonderful experience.

For fine dining this is a must. We enjoyed everything bite we had here! The atmosphere is beautiful and the service was perfect! Rather pricey but worth every penny. If we ever return to Bonaire this will be a must stop for us.

WOW!!! What an amazing experience sitting at Table 14. The entire staff went above and beyond for celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary!!! The food was outstanding and the wine pairings are over the top!!’ I strongly urge everyone to visit this amazing establishment!!!

Beautiful location and great atmosphere. We had the 6-course Brass Boer menu with wine pairing (4 wines). Food was good and the service very friendly, but nothing really surprised us. The wines were fine, but at $23.50 per glass the pricing is absurd – basically double the price of a bottle. With two aperitifs, two menus, one full wine pairing, one half wine pairing and a coffee, the bill came to $535, which doesn’t match the overall experience. Still, the location and atmosphere remain a wonderful experience.

Our favorite dinner spot on Bonaire. The food was absolutely divine, the service amazing, the atmosphere unbeatable. The wine pairings were perfect, of course. We are foodies and ate at all of the best restaurants on the island, Brass Boer was our favorite. We can't wait to come back!

My boyfriend and I were thrilled to dine at Brass Boer Bonaire for lunch, having already experienced its sister location in Curaçao. If I could, I'd give 4.5 rating. Spectacularly delicious food, with unique and very flavorful sauces, but the pacing was achingly slow and the price is VERY high. We had the 6 course tasting menu with wine pairings. After the first course, we waited 20-25 minutes for the next course, while our wine warmed up in the glass, and it didn't taste right with the food. There was another long wait for the third course, while, again, the wine was poured too soon, and warmed up appreciably by thee time the food arrived. The pacing improved after that. We have had tasting menus all over the world, and here, we actually came away full, as the portion sizes were fairly generous. The setting is awesome, with the surf crashing on the rocks right in front of you, and all the servers were very friendly, knowledgeable and rapid in their care of us. I guess the pacing was a problem from the kitchen. Fix the timing of the wine pours, and the experience will be much better. Our meal lasted over 3 hours, but it could very easily be done in 2 hrs.

We came here on a whim thanks to them having some last minute availability. We both did the tasting menu and the wine pairing which was delicious. Everything we were served was delicious and incredible. The one stand out dish that was the dessert was green thai curry, which sounded out but worked perfectly. The staff were great, helpful and attentive, definitely a must visit if you are on the island.

Food was amazing. Arrived at 7.15 and i think most came earlier at like 5pm. We ordered 3 small courses which were delicious but took 3 hours. They had a band next door so no drinks available that weren't on their menu (limited). Great presentation & service but don't be in a hurry and want anything unusual.

The “very little appetisers” were tasty. We read reviews and decided to order a dairy cow. We probably should have stayed with seafood.There were just 4 tables occupied when arrived, and we still waited 2 hours for our meal. Finally when we received our “steak” it looked delicious but the meat was completely raw (we ordered medium), and fool of fat (more fat than we have ever seen in a steak).When you go to a restaurant knowing you are going to spent at least $300 for a couple you expect an excellent meal. At this restaurant you can expect to spend $300-400 for a couple but do not expect a great meal.Even wine card was very expensive but we have had several of the wines listed and they are not exceptional.We were very disappointed.I gave them 3 stars only because the small appetisers were good, and the view was beautiful.

It was a must to add Brass Boer Bonaire to my list as die-hard Zwollenaar. It was an absolute highlight in my culinary experiences.Thanks to Thomas and Feike felt the Boer experience completely.The flavours exceeded my expectations making this one of my favourites Brasses to go to in the world! Felt at home as 'Blauwvinger' tasting Jonnie an Therese there flavours in every dish.

Amazing food, very friendly and accommodating service in a perfect sea front setting!They were meticulously taking care of special requests regarding food intolerances and made the evening a very special one.The dishes had a very nice balance of spiciness and sourness/fruitiness (Yuzu!) and were presented like pieces of art.It was a very enjoyable evening and we'll be back next time on Bonaire!

The hype is justified. Beautiful location. Tables are set apart far enough to have a private romantic dinner. The staff is fantastic. The food is an artistic explosion. It is beautifully presented, so intriguing in the use of different flavors, and so delicious. We chose to get the a la carte menu. They are very good about handling requests. Well worth the price.

Wonderful tasting menu that i highly recommend. We have eaten at their 'mother' restaurant in the Netherlands, Librije and Brass Boer does not disappoint. Beautiful location, great service with knowledgeable staff. Perfect day night or celebration place with amazing food.

This really should be a Michelin star restaurant. The tasting menu is superb. We are actually going back again because they had a cancellation for tonight. What an amazing find and on a Caribbean Island no less. We have been to Michelin stars all over the world and we think this was one of the best. We cannot say enough about the food and atmosphere. The view is breathtaking on top of having the best food.

From the ocean side setting, professional service and of course the very unique culinary offerings, you can't go wrong. We split between the 6 course and alacarte to get a full experience and it was perfect. The dishes that are "known fors" are all wonderful, including the sour dough. My only knock was I was expecting the gin and tonic to be served European style ( gin in glass, tonic on side), so when it came mixed and a bit watered down for my taste it was a bit disappointing.

Beautiful restaurant, outstanding food, wonderful staff.Can't really praise this place enough, the attention to detail is what you expect from a proper fine dining restaurant, and I have to say that Brass Boer is the only place on the island where we experienced this.We ordered every item (less one) off the a la carte menu plus four oysters and desserts, and it was the perfect amount of food for the two of us.The only somewhat negative thing I have to say is that the flavours between many dishes were quite similar (lots of curries) and it would have been nice to have more distinct variations between dishes. But I also understand that we didn't do the actual tasting menu and a la carte dishes aren't really meant to be ordered the way that we did it.

Don't go here hungry, the portions are way too small. For reference I am a very active 5'3 ~120lbs, and I found the portions simply not enough, unless you order 4-5 dishes each (or do the tasting menu). However, for a taller active male, this would never work. Unless you want to spend $200pp which in my opinion is just not necessary. IF YOU WANT a Michelin star experience, go here

We had a wonderful and romantic evening in the „Sunset-Lounge“ with high-level-food as we never had before and a very nice and professional crew which created a unforgettable evening for us. The prices are very worth it with no exceptions. We got perfectly composed little „Bites“ between the meals. Also they gave us little presents as souvenirs.I would highley recommend visiting the Brass Boer in Bonaire and get a wonderful evening including a high class taste-expierience with fair prices and perfect service.Looking forward to visit Brass Boer again!

The food here is absolutely phenomenal, unfortunately our experience was marred by the fact that each course took about half an hour to serve. We didn’t receive our first course until we’d already been seated for 45 minutes, and overall our 4 course dinner took a full 3 hours. Again, amazing food, but just be prepared to hang out for a while in order to experience it…

Excellent service and food complete with one of their signature dishes from Zwolle. Service was magnificent with them being cognizant of the ship's departure timIe. They guaranteed that the taxi would arrive at 14:30 sharp and it did. If possible, go with the chef's selection.

This restaurant y'all was an experience from start to finish. The quality of the food was phenomenal and well timed! The Brass Boer was suggested to us by another chef on the island and it didn't disappoint! We did the chefs tasting menu, it was five courses and each dish was prepped fresh, explained well and tasted fabulous! They had a wonderful cocktail menu and several mocktails as well. The service was also top notch!

We really enjoyed our dinner at this location. We have chosen the self select menu, and we felt well supported by the friendly staff wrt wining. The taste was excellent, the atmosphere (outside, next to the sea with candle lights) was great, and our overall experience was so pleasant. On top, the taxi arranged by the staff on our way back to our hotel went smoothly, at a reasonable price. Thank you for this wonderful evening!

Words cannot describe how amazing our experience was eating here. A magical setting right on the water. We had the chef’s tasting menu and everything was out of this world. The veal tartare was especially memorable. Service was impeccable and every bite was adventurous. If you don’t eat anywhere else on the island, eat here.

I would have liked to have lunch here instead of dinner so I can really enjoy the beautiful ambience here! The presentation is impeccable, both restaurant and the food. We thoroughly enjoyed each bite. The only hiccup we had was we ordered additional cocktails which never showed up despite having asked about it 10 and 20 min later (they were having another event on the other side it appeared). Otherwise it was a great time!

Great experience as expected.We eat aprox 1 or 2 times a year at high end restaurants in very special occasions and we sure loved our night out at Brass Boer.We had both the chef's course with 2 bottles of the (very good) house wine wich costed us around $300.Was it worth it? Cant say. We also have a good time at the local bars and restaurants talking and eating with the localsBut one thing is sure, dining at Brass Boer is not just eating out, its a night out and we sure enjoyed it

I really wanted to like this. Having been blessed to eat at the best restaurants globally, and having a great deal of culinary experiences on islands, from Nevis to Guadaloupe... meh. We were seated at an outdoor curved settee that really had a bad odor. Beautiful seating inside that they used for noone it would appear. The dishes were very "ok". Based on pricing one would expect far more. Having thoroughly enjoyed Foodies, La Cantina and It Rains Fishes, this ranked well below those. Being kind on 4 stars. Shame as there is potential. I will say the servers were lovely. After being here close to 4 weeks, I can with confidence say there are a handful of really good places on the island. Missed Chefs and suspect that would be worth the price. Sadly, this was not.

Great restaurant! We went there on a monday and it was pretty busy. The menu was strange, they said it was new. But we ordered the snapper. IT WAS WORTH IT!!!

Went there on a whim on a Tuesday evening. The restaurant was fully booked, so we ate at the beach bar. Same kitchen, smaller menu, I believe. We ate at the bar. The ceviche was fabulous. The staff was even better. Amade was engaging and entertaining. We'll definitely return.

One of the best dinner views/vibes on the island. Fancy, yet casual... romantic, yet family oriented... great plating, fantastic food. Fine dining experience... Got this as a tip from a fellow fine dining enthusiast and didn't regret it. We were 4 people and each ordered 2 smaller dishes (really enjoyed the duck and the goat cheese!). Later we shared the bbq red snapper which was a real treat. The service was really friendly although dropped the ball a little left and right. But that's really the only improvement area I would mention. We paid 384$. Since we also took champagne, a 50$ bottle of wine and some coffee and spirits in the end, I consider that good value for money.

If I could, I'd give 4.5 rating. Spectacularly delicious food, with unique and very flavorful sauces, but the pacing was achingly slow and the price is VERY high. We had the 6 course tasting menu with wine pairings. After the first course, we waited 20-25 minutes for the next course, while our wine warmed up in the glass, and it didn't taste right with the food. There was another long wait for the third course, while, again, the wine was poured too soon, and warmed up appreciably by thee time the food arrived. The pacing improved after that. We have had tasting menus all over the world, and here, we actually came away full, as the portion sizes were fairly generous. The setting is awesome, with the surf crashing on the rocks right in front of you, and all the servers were very friendly, knowledgeable and rapid in their care of us. I guess the pacing was a problem from the kitchen. Fix the timing of the wine pours, and the experience will be much better. Our meal lasted over 3 hours, but it could very easily be done in 2 hrs.

We came here on a whim thanks to them having some last minute availability. We both did the tasting menu and the wine pairing which was delicious. Everything we were served was delicious and incredible. The one stand out dish that was the dessert was green thai curry, which sounded out but worked perfectly. The staff were great, helpful and attentive, definitely a must visit if you are on the island.

Food was amazing. Arrived at 7.15 and i think most came earlier at like 5pm. We ordered 3 small courses which were delicious but took 3 hours. They had a band next door so no drinks available that weren't on their menu (limited). Great presentation & service but don't be in a hurry and want anything unusual.

The “very little appetisers” were tasty. We read reviews and decided to order a dairy cow. We probably should have stayed with seafood.There were just 4 tables occupied when arrived, and we still waited 2 hours for our meal. Finally when we received our “steak” it looked delicious but the meat was completely raw (we ordered medium), and fool of fat (more fat than we have ever seen in a steak).When you go to a restaurant knowing you are going to spent at least $300 for a couple you expect an excellent meal. At this restaurant you can expect to spend $300-400 for a couple but do not expect a great meal.Even wine card was very expensive but we have had several of the wines listed and they are not exceptional.We were very disappointed.I gave them 3 stars only because the small appetisers were good, and the view was beautiful.

It was a must to add Brass Boer Bonaire to my list as die-hard Zwollenaar. It was an absolute highlight in my culinary experiences.Thanks to Thomas and Feike felt the Boer experience completely.The flavours exceeded my expectations making this one of my favourites Brasses to go to in the world! Felt at home as 'Blauwvinger' tasting Jonnie an Therese there flavours in every dish.

Amazing food, very friendly and accommodating service in a perfect sea front setting!They were meticulously taking care of special requests regarding food intolerances and made the evening a very special one.The dishes had a very nice balance of spiciness and sourness/fruitiness (Yuzu!) and were presented like pieces of art.It was a very enjoyable evening and we'll be back next time on Bonaire!

The hype is justified. Beautiful location. Tables are set apart far enough to have a private romantic dinner. The staff is fantastic. The food is an artistic explosion. It is beautifully presented, so intriguing in the use of different flavors, and so delicious. We chose to get the a la carte menu. They are very good about handling requests. Well worth the price.

This really should be a Michelin star restaurant. The tasting menu is superb. We are actually going back again because they had a cancellation for tonight. What an amazing find and on a Caribbean Island no less. We have been to Michelin stars all over the world and we think this was one of the best. We cannot say enough about the food and atmosphere. The view is breathtaking on top of having the best food.

From the ocean side setting, professional service and of course the very unique culinary offerings, you can't go wrong. We split between the 6 course and alacarte to get a full experience and it was perfect. The dishes that are "known fors" are all wonderful, including the sour dough. My only knock was I was expecting the gin and tonic to be served European style ( gin in glass, tonic on side), so when it came mixed and a bit watered down for my taste it was a bit disappointing.

Beautiful restaurant, outstanding food, wonderful staff.Can't really praise this place enough, the attention to detail is what you expect from a proper fine dining restaurant, and I have to say that Brass Boer is the only place on the island where we experienced this.We ordered every item (less one) off the a la carte menu plus four oysters and desserts, and it was the perfect amount of food for the two of us.The only somewhat negative thing I have to say is that the flavours between many dishes were quite similar (lots of curries) and it would have been nice to have more distinct variations between dishes. But I also understand that we didn't do the actual tasting menu and a la carte dishes aren't really meant to be ordered the way that we did it.

Don't go here hungry, the portions are way too small. For reference I am a very active 5'3 ~120lbs, and I found the portions simply not enough, unless you order 4-5 dishes each (or do the tasting menu). However, for a taller active male, this would never work. Unless you want to spend $200pp which in my opinion is just not necessary. IF YOU WANT a Michelin star experience, go here

We had a wonderful and romantic evening in the „Sunset-Lounge“ with high-level-food as we never had before and a very nice and professional crew which created a unforgettable evening for us. The prices are very worth it with no exceptions. We got perfectly composed little „Bites“ between the meals. Also they gave us little presents as souvenirs.I would highley recommend visiting the Brass Boer in Bonaire and get a wonderful evening including a high class taste-expierience with fair prices and perfect service.Looking forward to visit Brass Boer again!

The food here is absolutely phenomenal, unfortunately our experience was marred by the fact that each course took about half an hour to serve. We didn’t receive our first course until we’d already been seated for 45 minutes, and overall our 4 course dinner took a full 3 hours. Again, amazing food, but just be prepared to hang out for a while in order to experience it…

This restaurant y'all was an experience from start to finish. The quality of the food was phenomenal and well timed! The Brass Boer was suggested to us by another chef on the island and it didn't disappoint! We did the chefs tasting menu, it was five courses and each dish was prepped fresh, explained well and tasted fabulous! They had a wonderful cocktail menu and several mocktails as well. The service was also top notch!

We really enjoyed our dinner at this location. We have chosen the self select menu, and we felt well supported by the friendly staff wrt wining. The taste was excellent, the atmosphere (outside, next to the sea with candle lights) was great, and our overall experience was so pleasant. On top, the taxi arranged by the staff on our way back to our hotel went smoothly, at a reasonable price. Thank you for this wonderful evening!

Words cannot describe how amazing our experience was eating here. A magical setting right on the water. We had the chef’s tasting menu and everything was out of this world. The veal tartare was especially memorable. Service was impeccable and every bite was adventurous. If you don’t eat anywhere else on the island, eat here.

I would have liked to have lunch here instead of dinner so I can really enjoy the beautiful ambience here! The presentation is impeccable, both restaurant and the food. We thoroughly enjoyed each bite. The only hiccup we had was we ordered additional cocktails which never showed up despite having asked about it 10 and 20 min later (they were having another event on the other side it appeared). Otherwise it was a great time!

Great experience as expected.We eat aprox 1 or 2 times a year at high end restaurants in very special occasions and we sure loved our night out at Brass Boer.We had both the chef's course with 2 bottles of the (very good) house wine wich costed us around $300.Was it worth it? Cant say. We also have a good time at the local bars and restaurants talking and eating with the localsBut one thing is sure, dining at Brass Boer is not just eating out, its a night out and we sure enjoyed it

I really wanted to like this. Having been blessed to eat at the best restaurants globally, and having a great deal of culinary experiences on islands, from Nevis to Guadaloupe... meh. We were seated at an outdoor curved settee that really had a bad odor. Beautiful seating inside that they used for noone it would appear. The dishes were very "ok". Based on pricing one would expect far more. Having thoroughly enjoyed Foodies, La Cantina and It Rains Fishes, this ranked well below those. Being kind on 4 stars. Shame as there is potential. I will say the servers were lovely. After being here close to 4 weeks, I can with confidence say there are a handful of really good places on the island. Missed Chefs and suspect that would be worth the price. Sadly, this was not.

Went there on a whim on a Tuesday evening. The restaurant was fully booked, so we ate at the beach bar. Same kitchen, smaller menu, I believe. We ate at the bar. The ceviche was fabulous. The staff was even better. Amade was engaging and entertaining. We'll definitely return.

Got this as a tip from a fellow fine dining enthusiast and didn't regret it. We were 4 people and each ordered 2 smaller dishes (really enjoyed the duck and the goat cheese!). Later we shared the bbq red snapper which was a real treat. The service was really friendly although dropped the ball a little left and right. But that's really the only improvement area I would mention. We paid 384$. Since we also took champagne, a 50$ bottle of wine and some coffee and spirits in the end, I consider that good value for money.
